Over 25 years in education with experience as a Classroom Teacher, Assistant Superintendent, University Professor, Professional Development Provider, Statewide Office Director . . . and Elementary Principal

Picture books are my absolute passion.  They are a rich way to build knowledge, emotional intelligence, a sense of classroom community, and foster a love of reading.

During the pandemic, I would read to my elementary students each and every day.  It was a way for me to connect with them at a time we couldn't be together.  Through that experience, I learned more about who they were as people AND readers.  My hope is to share a little bit of that magic with you.

I like to highlight the contributions of my biggest supporters . . .  Quincy and Hannah.  They are two pups who rescued me (not the other way around :-)
